Emergency plumber in Wimbledon
Plenty of the bigger houses in Wimbledon still have a vented system with a tank up in the loft. If that fails, water comes down through the house from the top. So knowing where the tank’s stopcock is matters just as much as the mains.

Before you book
Can you get to me in Wimbledon?
We do. Wimbledon is part of Merton, and we come out to SW19, SW20. Our engineers set off from the Fulham office and work all over Greater London.
I’ve shut off the mains but the water hasn’t stopped. What’s going on?
The likely answer is a tank in your loft, still emptying through the leak. Look for a gate valve on the pipe coming out of the tank and close it. Then open every hot tap to drain it down. That’s what really stops it.
How much will it be?
We tell you the price before we start. Sometimes we open things up and find more than expected. If that happens, we stop and talk it through with you. No surprise extras on the bill.
