Air conditioning maintenance in London, once a year
Without regular air conditioning maintenance, your system works harder than it should and wears out sooner. Our yearly visit covers the filters, the drainage and the electrics. Systems above a certain refrigerant charge also need an F-Gas leak check by law, so we cover that too, using F-Gas registered engineers.

F-Gas leak checks are the law, not an extra
Under F-Gas regulations, any system holding more than a set amount of refrigerant needs regular leak checks. We didn’t dream it up to sell you a service plan. It’s a legal requirement, and only F-Gas registered engineers can do it.
Weak cooling? It’s often a dirty filter
A dusty, clogged filter makes the whole system work harder and cool less. It’s the easiest thing for a maintenance visit to catch, and simple to put right. It’s usually why a unit that once cooled the room nicely can’t quite manage it now.
Book once a year, before the warm weather
Get maintenance done in spring, ahead of the first warm spell, and any fault is fixed while it’s a minor nuisance, not when you really need the cooling. Leave it until a heatwave and you’ll be queueing with everyone else who left it late.
Maintenance and repairs are separate
A maintenance visit is a planned check and clean. If we find a fault, like a refrigerant leak or a part that’s failing, fixing it is a separate job. We’ll price it and agree it with you first.
What people ask us
How often does air conditioning need servicing?
Once a year is the norm. Systems over a certain refrigerant charge also legally need regular F-Gas leak checks, and a routine maintenance visit takes care of those.
What’s included in a maintenance visit?
We look at the filters, condensate drain, refrigerant pressures, electrical connections and controls, and the outdoor condenser. If your system needs one, we carry out an F-Gas leak check as well.
Will maintenance stop my system breaking down?
It picks up most of the usual culprits, like a clogged filter, a slow refrigerant leak or a blocked drain, before they cause a breakdown. It can’t promise to prevent every fault, though.
Can you maintain a system someone else installed?
Yes, F-Gas leak checks included, whoever put the system in.
