Ideal builds its boilers in the UK. Its Logic range is a go-to for rental homes and big installation jobs, mostly because it’s simple and well priced. So we come across a lot of them in London conversions and landlord-owned flats. The parts are simple and usually easy to get.

Ask the same three things as with any boiler. How old is it? What does the failed part cost? Can you still get that part? A new Ideal is fairly cheap, so replacing can make sense earlier than with a premium make. That’s not a given, though. We’ll show you both prices.
