About Baxi

Baxi boilers have been going into British homes for decades. The group now takes in Potterton and Main as well. So lots of London homes have a Baxi-group boiler, whatever the badge says. Because so many are old and so varied, we work on everything from today’s combis to boilers past twenty that are still running.

Faults we often find on a Baxi

  • Fan or pressure-switch faults on older models
  • Scale building up in the heat exchanger in London’s hard-water areas
  • Very old boilers where replacement parts are getting hard to find

This is what tends to crop up, not a verdict on yours. An engineer checks your boiler in person and finds the fault before giving you a price.

Your questions

Asked about Baxi

My Baxi is more than twenty years old. Is it still worth repairing?
Sometimes it is, sometimes it isn’t. It comes down to whether you can still get the part for that particular fault. Some parts are still around, others went years ago. With a boiler this old, we’ll give you an honest view. If it’s only got a year left in it, you’ll hear that before you spend.
Can you fix and service my Baxi?
We can. Our gas work is done by Gas Safe registered engineers. By law, that is what any gas boiler needs, whatever the make.

Tell us the model and any code on the screen. Often we can tell you what’s likely wrong before anyone sets off.
